I bought this television because it was time to replace the bulb in my JVC rear projection. The Samsung LN55C650 fit my price and size requirements, I did look at a couple of Vizo or whatever from Wal-Mart because they are by far some of the cheapest LCD TV's I have seen but what can I say, you get what you pay for.
I have had the LN55C650 for only a couple of days and I must admit that I have had a hard time finding another LCD that even compares with this one on picture quality. I did find that the 120hz option tends to make high action scenes kinda jumpy, but you can turn it off with great ease. The TV also has internet apps like Pandora, YouTube, and Netflix(although my email today from Samsung's tech support let me know that it is not just my TV, none of the C650 models can actually use Netflix... yet... You can install it and look at a screen that tells you to update (there isn't one yet). The Samsung rep did tell me that it will be fixed soon though and with this TV's price I can wait a couple of months for an update.
DLNA on this TV worked like a charm for me using nothing more than the DLNA media server built into WMP 11.
