Ambilight is dead, I half expected any Philips flat screen to feature ambilight technology. This TV as well as any other Phillips TV does NOT feature Ambilight anymore. I called Phillips to confirm.
Unfortunately I had to return this TV, as it is not very sexy and not very thin and while the 240hz picture quality is good, I was not impressed by the sound at all.Get more detail about Philips 46PFL5505D/F7 46-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LCD HDTV, Black.
