Good Bang for Your Buck!

I picked up this Toshiba 32C100U while it was on sale during Black Friday. It's a very nice looking TV. The fit and finish are excellent! Down to business. LCDs have a really bad response time. Most clocking in at 60hz while other high end models are at 120hz and 250hz. While Plasma displays are at 600hz. A pretty big difference.

I have a Panasonic Plasma in my living room and I needed something to replace my 19" in the bedroom. A Plasma is pretty big for the bedroom, being that they start at 42". So, LCD was the way to go. As I said, earlier these displays have a pretty bad response time causing motion blur when a lot of movement is on the screen.

If you adjust the color, contrast, brightness and so on just right you can eliminate any kind of blur. I wasn't expecting an amazing looking picture to watch movies and play video games on. That is what the living room Plasma is for. So, just for TV the occasionally movie in bed with the wife and what not.

This Toshiba 32C100U HDTV is excellent! If you're looking for something for your living room, this probably isn't it. Get a Plasma or a LCD that has a fast response time. But, for your bedroom or kids room, this is a great buy!
