We had a really nice 42 inch Vizio TV with 240hz. However, one feature I wanted was the ability to watch netflix on the tv directly. The latest model of that TV just came out with wifi connectivity and netflix as an widget. However, I just could NOT get myself to pay almost $848 for that tv, which is the cheapest price that I found. So I waited, then I waited some more, then I waited some more. In my mind, a 40 to 42 inch 120hz tv should cost more than $600. Well the waiting paid off. Samsung's new LN40C630 recently came out with a price that dipped into the high $700's. No it didn't have internet connectivity, but I found with the first tv that I could just hook the computer up to it and solve that issue. Better yet, a salesman suggested I get a blue ray player (Samsung) that had that feature. Today after reviewing Amazon, [...], [...] and more, I went on a hunt. Found the Samsung at an incredible 'in store' price of $619 at my local electronic shop. No prices on the web come close at all. The store that I brought it from has a national website and on their own website the TV is $809. That is a $180 saving which was enough to get the blue ray player!
As the other reviewers have said this set is absolutely amazing and with the blue ray player I now also have the netflix access that I wanted, without my bulky computer sitting next to the TV. Operating the tv was very intuitive, because I have a 24 inch Samsung tv with the exact same setup. It is strong in pulling in all of the digital channels (more than 105) on my cable without that crazy set top box. I'm very pleased.
