We replaced our digital tuner / non-HD Polaroid 15" television in our kitchen, with this HDTV/DVD combo unit. We are VERY pleased with the purchase and feel the value for the $$'s was well worth the upgrade! The TV fits perfectly on a small lazy susan situated on a counter top under a set of our kitchen cabinets. The lower profile, due to it's wide-screen design, allows a better fit in this application versus the replaced Polaroid. Of the other units we researched, this one came highly rated for it's sound quality versus similar sized TV's. After watching it for a couple of months, we see why. The sound quality is equal to our larger 36" and 42" HDTVs. The reaction time to receive a picture when first turning on the unit, is a little slow, but not unlike other HDTV's we have. The remote control features are well designed and easy to access at quick glance. The integrated DVD player is very asthetically pleasing and desingned in a way that it fits into the TV cabinet without looking like an 'add on'. The picture quality is super and agian rivals those of our larger HDTV's.
