Like any consumer I researched tons of HD tvs and was set on a 40 or 46". I chose the Samsung LNC630 and it is the best purchase I have ever made. The picture is absolutely spectacular....so clean and clear with HDMI. I have an upconverting dvd player and 300 looked RIDICULOUS. The sound is great too, which I did not expect.
